The custom designed gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream. On the large main level is a king master suite with modern en-suite bath and relaxing nature views. The first floor also features a bunk room and queen bedroom. Each has a private bath. Upstairs is a lovely loft/study with a sleeper futon and unique balcony overlooking the living space. Over the garage is a large bedroom with a king and queen bed and bathroom.
Entertainment is everywhere in the amazing home. The main family living room is equipped with a plasma TV, plug and play HDMI cord, DVR, DVD/VCR, CD and surround sound plus a large selection of movies, music and literature. Summary: Just inside the Vanderhorst gate, this house is very convenient. It is well maintained and very comfortable. Close to the beach and the golf courses and with five bedrooms, this house is a great choice for a couple or a large family.

Summary: Our group of 11 family members enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very comfortable and the pool table was particularly enjoyed by all. The neighborhood is great, very quiet on a golf course overall a great long weekend in Kiawah.

Summary: Two families enjoyed staying at Surfsong while at Kiawah for a wedding. The home was very comfortable. Having breakfast on the porch was great, along with hanging out by the pool in the afternoon.

Summary: It was nice to have that quiet isolation. Our first year a this end of Kiawah Island. Layout was good for keepng personal space. 7 ppl, 3 couples and a 23 year old son. Every family had own bathroom, en suite. Kitchen had newish counters, and cabinets. We discovered the cook-top's switch for the vent, late in the stay. We didn't really need it, not doing any frying, so not a major loss, but it could use a look. We found that our nephew's family and his inlaws had used the house, several years ago. They'd liked it. We did, too!

Summary: Really enjoyed the house and appreciated very much being able to take our dogs. Felt that at that nightly rate of $800+ there should have been decent beach chairs to use. There were old/unusable ones in the garage. We had a water leakage problem in the garage that we notified management about.

Summary: Wonderful stay and a short bike ride to the beach. House floorplan was perfect for our needs and the sunroom and screened porch were our favorite. House needs a little love but it was a very clean and well supplied vacation home that I would rent again.
